About Us
Diagnostic Innovations Limited (DIL) was founded in 2007 and specialises in the development, manufacture, sales, and technical/analytical support of:
- Food testing kits for the detection of food allergens & wheat/cereal gluten as well as immuno-affinity and rapid testing products for mycotoxin analysis.
- CE-Marked medical (in vitro diagnostic; IVD) test kits for professional and self-testing use, particularly to assist in the diagnosis of so-called "true" (IgE-mediated) allergies.
DIL''s Imutest technology is patented and ideally suited to the accurate and sensitive detection of low concentrations of specific food proteins such as gluten. Uniquely it enables a simple Yes/No readout in samples containing low ppm levels of gluten as well as those with very high levels, such as wheat flour.
The company is based in state-of-the-art laboratory facilities in St. Asaph, N. Wales and has established R&D, manufacturing, and distribution capabilities for both its food testing and CE-marked allergy product ranges.
DIL''s Quality Management System is ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 accredited, and subject to regular independent third party audits. All products are produced to these same, very high standards and CE-Marked medical IVD products are independently assessed by suitably qualified Notified Bodies.
