Cat allergies are one of the most common types of pet allergy. If you suffer symptoms which you think might be the symptoms of a cat allergy, and these seem to get worse after contact with a cat or after you have entered a room where a cat is or has been present then you may have a cat allergy. Symptoms might include, but are not limited to, asthma leading to cough, wheezing, tightness in the chest and shortness of breath. You may also experience rashes and eczema.

Our products won't cure your cat allergy but using our test to determine whether you have an allergy to cats can be the first step on the road to successfully managing the fact that you are allergic to cats.

Once you know that you are allergic to cats, you can confidently seek medical advice and take appropriate action to reduce or possibly even eliminate your symptoms. You can test at any time of the year and your result is not affected by other medication.

How it Works

The Imutest cat allergy test shows whether you have sensitivity to allergens found on the hair and skin of cats. It is one of a range of quick and convenient home allergy tests Imutest offer to help people with asthma, eczema and other allergy related conditions find out what could be triggering their symptoms.

The Imutest™ cat allergy test kit works by detecting raised levels of IgE allergy antibodies in your blood. This is the same technique that would be used if you were to visit your GP or local hospital for an allergy test.

The Imutest test for cat allergies is a clinically proven IgE allergy test. We have created a clinical test for cat allergies which is easy and safe to use at home. All you need to do is simply follow the instructions carefully and in about 30 minutes you will know whether or not you are allergic to cats. There is no need for you to send your results away for analysis and your results should be as reliable as the test your GP would arrange for your.

The cat allergy test kit is subject to a fixed postage of £2.50 including VAT for delivery to the UK. All kits are sent via Royal Mail. Imutest are not currently licensed to sell this product outside the UK.
